Settlement of patent dispute with Laser Interceptor USA.

BLINDER International and Laser Interceptor USA have definitively amicably resolved their dispute in relation to BLINDER International's US patent 6,833,910, which patent is valid and in force until its expiration in December 2024. The content of the settlement agreement is confidential.

The court case was initiated on 25 August 2009 by BLINDER International in the United States District Court - Middle District of Florida, as part of our overall patent enforcement strategy. CEO of Blinder International, Torben Bøgh-Andersen states as follows:

Although the content of the settlement agreement with Laser Interceptor USA is strictly confidential, I would like to take this opportunity to communicate BLINDER International's patent enforcement strategy in general terms: BLINDER International's laser jammer technology is patented in many countries around the world, including the United States, Canada, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Israel.

Over recent years, it has come to BLINDER International's attention that many of the laser jammers manufactured and offered for sale on the market today are infringing BLINDER International's patent rights. This has been unambiguously confirmed by independent testing and evaluation by experts retained by BLINDER International.

BLINDER International has today given instructions to our solicitors to initiated preliminary legal action against a number of manufacturers and distributors of laser jammers in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia.

BLINDER International shall persistently and vigorously enforce its patents rights, in order to safeguard BLINDER International's comprehensive development investments in this proprietary patented laser jamming technology.
